Name change Edit

It would probably be best if this was turned into a DooM leftovers page rather than DooM levels, as that would take care of more things. True Dude 22:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

It would be more sensible to move this to "Doom levels", as there are almost no references to the parent game as "DooM" or "DOOM" on its own wiki. -- RobertATfm 22:38, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
Struck through "almost" in the above, as all such references have now been corrected, as are any remaining ones that are found. — RobertATfm (talk) 09:36, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Another way to see the extra map data Edit

I remember discovering the extra level data before source ports existed. I believe I loaded the chex quest iwad as a pwad in a shareware release of doom (-file option), and it acted like a registered doom, with episode 2 and 3, but in chex quest style. I don't remember which version of doom.exe I used, but I thought it was interesting. 03:09, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

This is mentioned (albeit using Doom II, rather than Shareware Doom) in the Doom Wiki Trivia page. -- RobertATfm (talk) 06:18, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
