A Chex Quest PWAD is a PWAD that's specifically tailored for Chex Quest. Chex Quest PWADs themselves are Doom PWADs and can have vague compatibility with the main Doom IWAD as Chex Quest textures have different dimensions from the original dimensions of Doom's texture and patch list.
